Position Overview
To develop, support, and maintain proprietary in-house software applications that are critical to daily operations. This role contributes directly to operational efficiency and supports the company’s strategic goals by automating workflows and enhancing internal systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development & Automation
  • Write clean, scalable code in C#, VB, VBA, VB.NET, PowerShell, and SQL.
  • Automate spreadsheet tasks and integrate with Access and SQL Server databases.
  • Design and implement new software applications tailored to departmental needs.
  • Enhance and maintain legacy systems and internal tools.
  • Optimize database queries and stored procedures for performance.
Software Support & Maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues.
  • Provide end-user support for Microsoft Office products, especially Access and Excel.
  • Document all code changes and follow company coding standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with accounting and operations teams to understand business requirements.
  • Translate user needs into technical solutions that improve workflow and data accuracy.
  • Participate in planning and prioritization of software goals.
Qualifications
Required Skills
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the following:
  • Proficiency in Access, VB, VBA, VB.NET, C#, PowerShell, and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of spreadsheet automation and data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with Power Query and Excel formulas (e.g., Index Match, SumProduct).
Preferred Experience
  • Exposure to proprietary systems and cloud-based coding environments.
  • Experience with database integration and legacy system enhancement.
  • Basic accounting knowledge and ability to work with financial data.
Education
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Accounting coursework or minor is a plus.
