Power Plumbing is hiring a CAD Operator to join our CAD team in Rice, TX. In this role, you'll create the drawings our field crews rely on every day — turning project plans and specifications into accurate, buildable plumbing drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.

Power Plumbing is hiring a CAD Operator to join our CAD team in Rice, TX. In this role, you'll create the drawings our field crews rely on every day — turning project plans and specifications into accurate, buildable plumbing drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.

What You'll Do
- Develop and revise plumbing drawings and details in Revit and AutoCAD
- Work directly with field personnel and project managers to support active jobs and resolve drawing questions
- Present completed drawings and details for review, and incorporate feedback and revisions
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Maintain organized, current drawing files and documentation
- Meet project deadlines and keep multiple jobs moving at once
- 1–3 years of hands-on CAD drafting experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Working knowledge of plumbing systems
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage several projects at once
- Clear written and verbal communication — you'll be talking with field crews regularly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in the plumbing, mechanical, or construction trades
- Experience producing coordination drawings on multi-family projects
